Seasonal Clothing - What Sells at the Spring Sale

With the sale being held twice each year, once in the early spring and once in the early fall, the decision was made to keep each sale seasonal, which allows for better organization of the racks, making it easier to shop and keep organized.  Below are some basic guidelines as to what is considered acceptable clothing for the spring sale and what is not.

Accepted & Sold during the spring sale:
All short sleeve tops
All shorts
Bathing suits
Jeans
Khaki's/docker style pants
Polo shirts, long or short sleeve
Button up/dress shirts, long or short sleeve
Long sleeve t-shirts
Sun dresses
Lightweight hoodies
Lightweight Cardigan
Rain coat
Light weight jacket
Long sleeve athletic wear (such as an Under Armor shirt for under a baseball or soccer jersey)

Not accepted during the spring sale (hold onto for the fall):
Any item with a Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween theme (even if it is a short sleeve shirt, if it has snowflakes on it save it for the fall)
Fleece coats, jacket, pants
Corduroy
Heavy Rugby shirts
Winter coats
Wool sweaters, tops dress
Long sleeve waffle shirts/long johns/long underwear
Costumes (yes children wear costumes year round, but due to space constraints they are limited to the fall)

Exceptions
Wool diaper covers are ok (these are used year round)
Baseball team gear (A heavy Red Sox sweatshirt would likely be worn early spring - but please NO baseball team winter accessories - i.e. Red Sox mittens, hat, scarf)

NOTE: This list is as comprehensive as possible without being too extensive.  We welcome any and all questions.  Please also remember that it can seem very subjective at times and at drop off the volunteers and drop off leads do have the final say, if you have an item that has been turned away it can be kept in the system and returned to sell at the Fall Sale.
